Dog has approved the new cushion.

The night time temperature dropped to 17F and I had to bring my daffodil pots inside. Yep, I'm wearing my long johns.

Living in the boonies, I literally encounter wild deer every day on a dog walk. Our backyard is also a part of their daily walking route so they pass by pretty much every morning and evening. I was able to take a picture of a family of 9 today.

  1. Be careful about the ticks on you (and Dog). Ask me how I know...
However, I live in the NE of the US - It might not be the same health issue where you are.
The deer are beautiful to watch, but I'm surprised you get so close with Dog along! 1 degree here yesterday. YIKES!

    1. Ticks and fleas are a big problem here in the Deep South too. I got my first tick last year thanks to our dog and stopped going into the field behind our yard or the woody part of our side yard after that!
