Hydrangea Bonn Shirt

I bought this hydrangea print double gauze in Japan last year, and I wanted to make something before the hydrangea season was over. Well, now I have done it. Yey.

The pattern is Bonn Shirt & Dress from Itch to Stitch. I know, my Itch to Stitch streak continues...

This pattern is really a good deal. You get four sleeve options and blouse and dress options. So you can make quite a lot of iterations from one pattern. Itch to Stitch has a bundle buy discount so the price is not too bad for an indie pattern, and I really like casual and basic design.

Following my bandanna print Kosice Top, I cut a straight size 2, and shortened 3/8" above bust and 1" below waist (I am 5'3"). I cannot be happier with the fit.

The busy print hides the detail a bit, but the blouse has this collar stand ("modified mandarin collar") that lies flat around the neck. It's pretty narrow and a bit bitch to sew the tight curve, but I really like it with the V opening.

Worn together with my Ginger Jeans.
